Overview
The 7000 is the vertical tower model in the Huvitz range. It carries the same ultra-high-end optic system Huvitz describes for the 5500, with a wider angle, a live image and increased accuracy across five magnifications, in the traditional full-size body that most clinicians trained on. The vertical illumination tower is the classic slit lamp geometry and it is what many examiners reach for without thinking; if your lane has the room, this is the more familiar instrument to sit behind for a long clinic day.
