Overview
The NPSL-1000 answers a problem every practice eventually hits: the patient who cannot get to the slit lamp. Norwood positions it for ophthalmology, optometry and veterinary practices, and the case it solves is the patient who lacks the ability to sit comfortably at a traditional table-mounted lamp, whether that is a wheelchair user, a child, a bedbound patient, or an animal. It is hand-held and Norwood describes it as extremely light and portable, supplied in a custom case that makes it practical to carry between rooms or between sites rather than something that lives on one bench. It supplements a lane slit lamp rather than replacing it.
