Corneal Topography
Topography choices depend on what you fit. Standard corneal maps serve refractive screening and routine contact lens work; specialty and scleral lens fitting needs the whole anterior surface, sclera included, because that is where the lens actually lands.
How the options differ
The Eaglet Eye Eye Surface Profiler measures the full corneo-scleral profile and feeds scleral lens design and ordering workflows directly, which is why specialty lens practices anchor on it. The Visionix VX 650 and VX 120+ Dry Eye include corneal topography within multimodal anterior segment platforms, right for practices that want topography as one of several measurements from a single pretest stop rather than a dedicated fitting instrument.
