Bruder Ocular Surface Analyzer (BOSA)
All-in-one ocular surface analyzer marketed by M&S with Bruder: ten rapid tests including interferometry, meibography, tear breakup time, and blink evaluation.
Overview
The BOSA gives a dry eye workup one instrument and one workflow. Four automated tests run in about 15 seconds per eye after capture: lipid layer interferometry, tear meniscus height, non-invasive tear breakup time, and blink evaluation. Six more complete the picture in minutes, including automated meibography with gland detection, bulbar redness, fluorescein and lissamine green staining, pupillometry, and white-to-white measurement. M&S positions it as a hub to identify and quantify ocular surface disease and track treatment response, with documentation support for Demodex and blepharitis.
