M&S Technologies
Clinical Trial Suite
Fully automated vision testing suite whose algorithms adhere to ANSI and ISO standards, used for endpoint testing in ophthalmic clinical trials.
Overview
The Clinical Trial Suite is M&S's research-grade platform: automated, customizable vision testing protocols whose optotype sizing and spacing are calibrated to ANSI Z80.21 and ISO 8596, following American Academy of Ophthalmology task force recommendations. It runs automated ETDRS at distance, intermediate, and near, letter contrast sensitivity down to 0.8 percent contrast, and threshold contrast testing in 0.1 log steps with randomized presentation. M&S reports the suite is accepted for use in Phase III endpoint trials, and installation includes on-site calibration, training, and certification.

Who this is a good fit for
If none of these describe your practice, it is probably not the right choice, and we will tell you that.
Investigative sites running ophthalmic clinical trials
Practices adding trial revenue that need standards-compliant endpoints
Research groups that need calibrated, certifiable acuity lanes
What to ask on a demo
A demo is worth more when you arrive with your own cases and a list of questions. Here is what we would raise.
- Review a current protocol with M&S and map each endpoint to a suite test
- Ask what the certification process covers at your site
- Confirm how data reaches your sponsor's EDC
