Overview
The iVue 80 is the base OCT of the Optovue iSeries: an 80,000 A-scans per second spectral domain engine, three times faster than the original iVue, operated with a familiar slit-lamp style joystick workflow that new technicians pick up quickly. It quantifies retina, nerve fiber layer, ganglion cell complex, and corneal thickness, tracks change and predicts trends in RNFL and GCC, and covers the anterior segment with 10 mm pachymetry, angle measurement, and 6 mm epithelial mapping. The iWellness exam produces retinal and GCC thickness with normative comparison from a single scan.

Where it sits in the Optovue line
All three iSeries platforms share the same 80 kHz engine, 5 micron axial resolution, and iWellness exam. The iVue 80 is the base console; the iFusion 80 adds the iCam 12 fundus camera; the iScan 80 wraps the same clinical toolset in a self-aligning, voice-guided console. None of the three offers OCT-A. If angiography or FullRange scan range matters to you, that is the SOLIX conversation.
